Client Services Coordinator
Joyce Sengi joins Standpoint Solutions Inc. as a Client Services Coordinator, bringing a strong background in counselling, case management, and human services work across Canada's North. With experience spanning addiction counselling, personal support work, and behaviour support in educational settings, Joyce has developed a practical, people-centred approach to helping clients navigate complex systems and access the supports they need.
At the Tree of Peace Friendship Centre in Yellowknife, Joyce conducted intake assessments, built coordinated support plans, and connected clients to employment programs, counselling, and community resources. She provided trauma-informed counselling and crisis support while facilitating culturally grounded healing activities and group programming. Her earlier roles with the Women's Society, Avens for Seniors, and Queen Elizabeth High School further shaped her skills in advocacy, care planning, and interagency collaboration.
Joyce is committed to delivering trauma-informed, culturally safe, and strengths-based service navigation, with particular attention to the needs of Indigenous clients and individuals facing multiple barriers. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services at Athabasca University and holds a Disability Studies Diploma from Bow Valley College. In her role at Standpoint Solutions, Joyce focuses on improving access, continuity of care, and positive outcomes for the clients and communities she serves.
